8th November 2021
Wing Boarding: Llanfairfechan
Wind Direction: SW
Wind Stength: F4/F5 gusty
Surf / Sea State: Small chop
Air Temperature: 15
Sea Temperature: 13.1
Weather: Cloud
Max Speed:
Distance Covered:

After a few goes started to get rides, some short and one maybe 200m just skimming chop until I got knocked off. Need to increase height but I stall as climb too steep so take it easy. A few walks upwind until I got longer rides upwind. Rik said move weight forward and pull wing in more for more speed, and that helped. Didn't realise I have to shift feet so much to get going and whilst going, but only small changes.
Getting up more, but rush it too much, wait until enough speed. Started to pump a bit in lulls and got going. Pleased with progress. John getting longer runs and well chuffed. Rik getting most gybes in.
Wind a bit offshore but helps keep water flat and gusts are all you need. Julian blasting on 6.2m windsurfer, but to learn something new have to forgo good days.
Packed up in an awesome red sunset.
